Welcome to Motherhood in Revision!
I am Kate, the “Mom” or “Bob” to three beautiful children. I am happily re-married to the love of my life. Our lives are equally as average and unique as the next family.
Things are constantly changing these days. Our job as mothers is to be able to roll with the punches and build the best life we can for our children. Change is inevitable, but doing it alone doesn’t have to be.
I have felt the urge to write about my experiences and tips that have helped us for a while now. So what finally got me here? After some mental gymnastics and working through those wonderful feelings of imposter syndrome, I finally came to this conclusion-
I’m not. I’m not an expert, I’m not a guru, I’m not that wonderful momma we all follow on Instagram. But I firmly believe that every one we meet has something new that they could teach us.
So. I may not be special, but I might know something that could help the next mom or parent out in their journey.
And what a journey it is!
I hope to be able to provide some tips and insight that can aid in fostering your own ideas, or maybe just take some of the mental load off your shoulders.
And I may not be expert, but I do have experience with
- Co-Parenting
- Planning activities for my family
- Being a stay-at-home mom
- Parenting unique children
- Homeschooling
- Being a working mother
I promise to be as real with you as possible- all of the joy, the hardship, the laughs, and the work. Because on this ever-changing path through life, we are all trying to do the best we can. I believe that is enough.
Come hang out as we revise and retry. Let’s find something that works- together!
